Organizing isn’t one-size-fits-all, so we focus on long-term, versatile solutions tailored specifically to you. From donation drop-offs and space planning to shopping, returns, and custom labels (including luxury vinyl options), we handle it all. Our work is always judgement-free, and we truly care about helping you reduce stress and improve your quality of life.


We serve most towns across northern New Jersey, with many of our clients located in South Orange, Maplewood, Short Hills, Millburn, West Orange, Livingston and Montclair.


The cost of our organizing services depends on several factors, including the size of the space, the number of items, the level of detail involved, and how hands-on you’d like to be. We offer a wide range of services to match your preferences. To provide accurate pricing, we start with a consultation to assess your space and your wishes. A detailed proposal with your specific project cost, and services included, will follow.


To get a proposal, simply fill out the consultation or contact form on our website, or give us a call or text at (973) 558-2198. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible to set up a quick call to see if we’re a good fit and whether your timeline can be accommodated with our current schedule. If everything aligns, we’ll set up a complimentary in-person consultation, which typically lasts 30 to 60 minutes. After that, you’ll receive a detailed proposal outlining your project cost and services included.

Yes, of course! We use label makers labels and have custom vinyl label options using a variety of different fonts and colors.


This various with each project. Many factors come into play - the number of spaces that you’d like to organize, items included within those spaces, overall goals you have and your schedule. 


Absolutely, 100%! All organizing projects, clients, and their belongings are treated with complete confidentiality. We deeply respect your privacy and approach every project with the highest level of discretion, care, and professionalism. Your home or business is your personal space, and we treat it as such. If we ever wish to share photos for marketing purposes, to other potential clients or on social media, we will only do so with your clear and express permission.


Yes, we can absolutely help with that. We tailor every project to your specific needs - even if you are just looking for product recommendations. We’ll meet in person to take detailed measurements, understand your budget, and learn about your preferred colors and materials. Based on that, we will provide customized suggestions for bins, baskets, containers, furniture, and other organizing solutions to help you confidently tackle the space on your own. 


Nothing at all! Just like you don’t need to clean before the cleaners come, there’s no need to organize before your in-home consultation or before the start of your project. In fact, it’s best if we see your space in its natural state - that helps us understand what systems are, or aren’t, currently in place so we can better determine solutions for you and for your space.


Yes, we offer monthly, quarterly or annual plans that help with your regular decluttering needs, donation removals and reorganizing wishes.


Yes! Purchasing containers, bins, and other organizing products is one of the services we offer. Once we’ve measured your space and determine the right solutions, you can decide what you would like to purchase, and we will handle the shopping for you. 


Yes! For shared spaces - whether it’s roommates, non-immediate family members, or common areas used by multiple people - we like to meet with everyone who uses the space. This ensures the systems we create meet everyone’s needs and support long term success for the whole household. 


People often worry that a home organizer will force them to become a minimalist. Not at Organize and Play. Being organized is not about getting rid of everything. It's about living your best life, free of clutter and the stress that comes with it. Yes, we can! We support all stages of a move - from decluttering and packing to prepping your home for staging, and unpacking and organizing in your new space. To increase the chances of accommodating your timeline, it’s best to reach out as early as possible before your closing or move-in date, as our schedule fills up quickly.
